How to Grant Access to Your Meta Business Manager

Step-by-step instructions to securely share access to your Facebook and Instagram business assets.

Your Meta Business Manager is the central hub for managing your business’s Facebook and Instagram pages, ad accounts, and other connected assets. If you're working with Towne Post Digital or any marketing partner, granting access to your Business Manager is an essential step that allows us to securely manage your accounts, run campaigns, and track results—without sharing your personal login information.

Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide to granting access:

Step-by-Step: Granting Access to Meta Business Manager

1. Log in to Meta Business Manager

Visit https://business.facebook.com and log in with your Facebook account that has admin access to your Business Manager.

2. Select the Correct Business Account

If you manage more than one Business Manager account, select the correct one from the dropdown at the top-left of the screen.

3. Go to Business Settings

Click the gear icon on the left-hand menu to open Business Settings.

4. Navigate to People or Partners

You have two options for granting access:

  • People: Use this to invite individual users by email.

  • Partners: Use this to grant access to an agency, like Towne Post Digital, using their Business ID.

We recommend using the Partners option for agencies to keep permissions organized.

5. Add Towne Post Digital as a Partner

  • Click Partners in the left-hand menu.

  • Click the blue Add button.

  • Enter Towne Post Digital’s Business Manager ID: [Insert Towne Post Business ID]

  • Select the assets you want to grant access to (Pages, Ad Accounts, Instagram accounts, etc.).

  • Assign the appropriate permissions based on what you’d like us to manage. We typically recommend Admin access for the assets we’ll be managing on your behalf.

6. Review and Confirm

Once you've selected the assets and assigned permissions, click Save Changes. We’ll receive a notification that access has been granted.
